The age old phrase, "Medicine adds days to your life, but occupational therapy adds life to your days," is a sentiment that rings true in Dr. Gordon's practice techniques and approaches.
Dr. Gordon's mission is to provide extensive, sensory driven, client-led and family-focused occupational therapy evaluations and therapy sessions to youth ages 0-21 years old with a diagnosed tic disorder, or without but wondering, in an effort to promote an occupationally relevant, fulfilling life for all, so each client can be comfortable in their skin and able to advocate for themselves more fully.
Dr. Gordon has experience with disability in her own life including Gastroparesis and Tourette’s Syndrome- which makes her the perfect advocate for children with tic disorders and related disabilities. She knows exactly what it is like to fight for the services one needs to ultimately benefit from their environment.
